Anxiety Disorders Association of America (ADAA)

Visit ADAA's Find a Therapist webpage to search for mental health professionals who treat anxiety disorders and a list of self-help groups in your area.

American Psychiatric Association (APA)

For referral information about psychiatrists in your area, visit the APA Psychiatrist Locator. The APA website also contains information about mental health and medication treatments.

American Psychological Association (APA)

The Psychologist Locator helps you find psychologists near you. The APA's online Help Center provides free information about psychology, common problems and psychological services.

Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT)

Visit the ABCT to obtain a list of mental health professionals in your state who use behavior therapy and/or cognitive behavior therapy treatments that are usually goal-oriented, short-term and drug free.

PCOM, in partnership with the Independence Blue Cross Foundation, developed a Caregiver Wellness Program to provide resources to help caregivers effectively manage stress and improve well-being.

Delaware Valley Association of Black Psychologists (ABPSI)

The Delaware Valley Association of Black Psychologists (DVABPsi) is an organization of black psychologists and professionals in related fields who are committed to developing human resources within the black community and interfacing with the community at large. They provide free professional development seminars and community events that are open to the public throughout the year.

National Association of School Psychologists (NASP)

NASP represents and supports school psychology through leadership to enhance the mental health and educational competence of all children. The NASP website offers resources for members, parents, educators and others interested in helping children and their families.

Pennsylvania Psychological Association (PPA)

The PPA aims to advance psychology in Pennsylvania as a means of promoting human welfare. The PPA website features an online psychologist locator for the state of Pennsylvania in addition to other helpful resources.

Philadelphia Behavior Therapy Association (PBTA)

PBTA is an interdisciplinary organization that promotes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and related practices in the greater Philadelphia area. The organization provides education to practitioners, researchers and the public through lectures and workshops.

Philadelphia Psychology Network

The Philadelphia Society of Clinical Psychologists (PSCP) Psychology Network offers members and the public a variety of services ranging from referral resources, low-cost therapy, continuing education, mental health updates and networking events. Some patients may qualify to see one of the Human Services Center clinicians at a reduced cost.
