Dr. Patel's primary focus is on Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) in all age groups, including newborns and the pediatric population.

She is board certified in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (NMM/OMM) by the American Osteopathic Board of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine, and in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Osteopathic Pediatrics. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) and Master of Public Health (MPH) from Nova Southeastern University in Florida.

Her professional memberships include the American Academy of Osteopathy, American Osteopathic Association, American Academy of Pediatrics, American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians, Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association and the New York State Osteopathic Medical Society.
