Dr. Nicol Joseph is board certified in family medicine with added qualifications in geriatrics, and hospice and palliative medicine. She is a Certified Hospice Medical Director and a Certified Medical Director through the American Medical Directors Association. She serves as medical director for VNA Hospice of Philadelphia and provides care to residents at four Philadelphia nursing homes.
Dr. Joseph completed her graduate medical education at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-School of Osteopathic Medicine (UMDNJ-SOM) in Stratford, NJ, where she was recipient of the National Medical Fellowship Award. She completed her family practice residency at UMDNJ-SOM Christ Hospital in Jersey City, NJ.
