Katherine E. Galluzzi, DO, CMD, FACOFP dist., has been practicing geriatric medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for nearly 30 years. She is board certified in family medicine/osteopathic manipulative medicine, geriatric medicine, pain management, and hospice and palliative medicine by the AOA and AAHPM.

Dr. Galluzzi serves as the chair for the Philadelphia Corporation for Aging, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to improving the quality of life for older Philadelphians. Additionally, she is active in numerous local and national organizations/committees and speaks about geriatric topics including health promotion and disease prevention, screening, dementia, pain and palliative care. She is also an investigator in ongoing clinical research trials utilizing novel agents to improve analgesia in patients with persistent pain.
